Blogarithms

Doug Kaye's thoughts on web services, web hosting and managed services.

Robb'd in Person. John Robb, President and COO of UserLand Software, was in town, and I had the chance to meet him over Chinese food in Palo Alto. If you're not already on the list, you ought to subscribe to his K-Logs (Knowledge Logs) mailing list. It's not an open discussion list. Rather, it's a moderated list that John keeps tightly focused on his thoughts. Some people have been pissed off by this, but if you understand it going in, I think you'll get a lot out of John's superb insights into weblogs as a viral knowledge-management tool. John was also President and COO of Gómez, and his experiences there account for a lot of his current thinking. We're thinking of collaborating in one form or another--just not sure how quite yet. Check out his weblog, too. [discuss]
