Blogarithms

Doug Kaye's thoughts on web services, web hosting and managed services.

Taran Rampersad on the OSI Model Regarding confusion between HTTP and TCP, "Dead on. It's one of the most confusing parts of the Microcomputer Networking class for students, and it's probably one of the hardest parts to teach these days because it just doesn't map well.

"What's the answer? Well, for starters, it would be good if there was a model that explained how things ACTUALLY work. Then Revision the OSI model to that. It sounds simple, but it ain't."
