Marin County Goes for the Gold. What's the chance that not one, but two of our son Warren's classmates from tiny Branson High School here in Marin County, California, would be in this year's Winter Olympics?
Johnny Moseley, who won (at least one) Gold Medal in freestyle skiing at the Nagano Olympics four years ago, was one year ahead of Warren at Branson. But this year both Johnny and Beata Handra, who was in the same class as Warren, will both be goin' for the gold. We knew Beata as an excellent pianist. Forget the piano, though. Now she's a world-class competitor in ice dancing.
Who says Marin County only raises Taliban fighters? !! [Good article in our local newspaper.]
