Cell Phones While Driving. "In 2003 alone, phone-distracted drivers on America's roads will likely kill more people than the September 11, 2001 terrorist attack." This good article by Andy Dorman in Network Magazine dispells the myth that hands-free operation is any safer. "Talking on a cell phone increased the risk of having an accident four-fold, the same factor as a blood alcohol level at the legal DUI limit. What's more, "hands-free" car phones, often touted as safer, appeared to be slightly more dangerous than hand-held terminals."
