Doug Kaye's thoughts on web services, web hosting and managed services.

Alan Cooper's Dream. Chris Sells posted a great analysis of his conversations with "the father of Visual Basic" regarding the lack of a true architect role in software development. Alan is truly brilliant. I had the pleasure of working with on the UI to an on-line service I co-founded in 1996. Unfortunately, the startup couldn't raise a second round of funding, so we never got to complete the process with Alan's firm. He's not only a great guy, but also a fellow Beech Bonanza owner and pilot. Chris had a flying lessons from Alan. [Source: Robert Scoble]

Adam Bosworth's Blog. The CTO of BEA writes, "I've been planning to start a weblog for quite some time but, unsually for me, I've suffered from writers block at the thought that this would be so public. Well it is time to tough it out." I'm looking forward to his insights. [Source: Edwin Khodabakchian at Collaxa]
