Doug Kaye's thoughts on web services, web hosting and managed services.

Alan Cooper's Dream. Chris Sells posted a great analysis of his conversations with "the father of Visual Basic" regarding the lack of a true architect role in software development. Alan is truly brilliant. I had the pleasure of working with on the UI to an on-line service I co-founded in 1996. Unfortunately, the startup couldn't raise a second round of funding, so we never got to complete the process with Alan's firm. He's not only a great guy, but also a fellow Beech Bonanza owner and pilot. Chris had a flying lessons from Alan. [Source: Robert Scoble]
