Doug Kaye's thoughts on web services, web hosting and managed services.

IE Search: No More Google? I just installed one of those auto-update things that appears on my computer from Microsoft. It included some chages to XP and to IE, at least I think so. Before the update I had configured IE so that if I typed something into the Address field it automatically invoked Google. Not only does that no longer work, but when I attempt to configure the search option in IE, Google is no longer even listed.

Is there cause and effect here? Am I only imagining things? Anyone else find they can no longer automatically search Google from the IE 6.0 Address field after the latest "security" updates? (6.0.2800.1106.xpsp2.030422-1633, whatever all that means)
