Jabber Out. Trillian In. After suffering through three different Jabber clients and two unreliable Jabber servers, I took the advice from Allen Weinberg and installed Trillian. Within minutes I was linked to friends and associates using ICQ, AIM and MSN/Hotmail. The software appears to be very well designed and remarkably configurable. The program is free, but I was impressed enough to send the company some $$ only an hour after I installed it.

Reality Check. Craig Donato, President and CEO, Grand Central, has joined my panel at Internet World in New York on October 2, entitled Web Services Reality Check: A Roundtable Discussion. Other participants so far are Annrai O'Toole, Executive Chairman, Cape Clear, and Patrick Grady, CEO, Talaris. Should be interesting. To bad we only get 1:15. I'm sure we could talk all day.
