A New Personal Focus. I'm still as active as ever in the worlds of Web hosting and infrastructure, but there's no doubt about it...Web Services are a hot topic. Many of my on-going clients have called or emailed me to ask what I thought they should be doing about Web Services.
Over lunch last year, it was Peter Christy who suggested I write a book on Web Services. Peter saw early on the momentum of Microsoft and others, and he knew IT managers would bee looking for strategic advice.
I began my research into the world of Web Services in the second half of 2001, and I've really increased my efforts in the past two months. For now, you'll see my occassional posts to this weblog, but behind the scenes, I'm working on a Web Services Strategies whitepaper, possibly to be followed by a full-length book. Let me know what issues you think I should be addressing. I look forward to receiving your comments and suggestions.
