Outsourcing Tips. Peter Bendor-Samuel says, "Outsourcing success is the product of enlightened governance. The five rules for successful governance are:
- Don't let the former process owners manage the relationship.
- Reward the governance team on supplier success, not failure.
- Assemble a governance team with good business judgment but no direct process skills.
- Give governance the importance it deserves in your corporate hierarchy.
- Be tough but fair."
